Little ol lo*kee turns the ripe old age of four this year and for want of a better phrase “we can’t fucking wait”. The Champagne is on ice, the Jaeger is in the freezer, the confetti cannons are filled and the big red sign is polished - all in preparation for what is looking to be one of our best parties to date!

We are more than pleased to announce & welcome Pampa Records to London for the first time ever to celebrate with us in style. Coming along for the ride will be none other than head honcho DJ Koze and the incredible Robag Wruhme for an all night b2b set from 11pm till 8am (!!) only interrupted by a live performance by Die Vögel.

Word seems to be spreading like wild fire, tickets are selling fast - need we say this one is gonna be a roadblock. As always there will be a number of tickets on the door but to avoid disappointment and jump the queue make sure to get your ticket from RA before they’re gone.

DJ Koze
The man also known as Adolf Noise, Monaco Schranze or 1/3 of International Pony has been one of our musical heroes since pretty much forever. His albums ‘Music Is Okay’, ‘Kosi Comes Around’ as well as the remix album ‘Reincarnations’ are classics and so are the surprisingly small number of 12” he’s released since 1998 on labels such as Kompakt, Circus Company and Philpot. In 2009 he started his own imprint Pampa Records, dedicated to releasing club music that's seriously danceable without recourse to the tried and tested ingredients.

Robag Wruhme
Also an old favourite DJ and producer of ours, solo or as one half of the legendary Wighnomy Brothers. In 1998 he founded the label Freude Am Tanzen , followed by sublabel Musik Krause in 2002. Robag’s music is self-described as “raving with reason”: sometimes cheerful and sometimes dark but never dull and always full of surprises. For our birthday he will play a super rare 9h set back to back together with buddy Koze, only interrupted by a live performance by Die Vögel. We can’t wait.

Die Vögel
Mense Reents and Jakobus Siebels are Die Vögel. They make live techno using tubas and trombones. After seeing them at Fusion Festival two years ago we knew we had to get them down to lo*kee at some point. The legend goes that Koze felt he had to start Pampa Records once he had heard their music. Their energetic tuba techno live show will be the cream on our birthday cake. Bring it on.

As always, your safest, cheapest and easiest way of getting through the door is to pre purchase a ticket!

See you on the floor

Sat, 16 Jun 2012hi guys, don't want to inflame the discussion further but:
1. Who arrives at midnight? Its a bit early, and no wonder there's a huge q at the time. I got there at 2.30 and walked right through.
2. Where I'm from (Germany) nobody ever pre-sells tickets and when you get to a club you normally q 2 hours and still run the risk of getting turned down, so you should be grateful that you get to pre-buy tickets for such an outstanding night! q or no q you got guaranteed entrance so whats the fuss... More

Fri, 11 May 2012Absolutely OUTSTANDING event!

The music was exceptional from the second I walked in! Intentions to leave at 6 were abandoned as I was captured by literally minute after minute of phenomenal sound.

Lo*kee continues to exemplify outstanding musical and venue selection in my opinion, haven't been disappointed yet!

To be fair, Que sucks! And although I have tremendous appreciation for Crucifix Lane, it is the only consistent issue I have. But you can always adjust yourself especially... More

Wed, 09 May 2012@ JackBMurphy - yeah it's called Liberty and it samples Charlie Chaplin's speech from the film 'The Great Dictator'. I can't remember the exact version but the original is by K2 Tone: www.beatport.com/#release/liberty/349255
As far as the night goes, I thought the music was excellent from start to finish. That was never in doubt.

The promoters on the other hand......

How difficult can it be to get people into a club? If you... More
