More on Culture Club
Hi party people !
It’s time to MOVE! those bodies again !!
One of the most talked about parties in Ghent: MOVE! is back!
Nearly every edition was sold out since the concept started back in 2007 and those old times can be re-experienced because MOVE! is back in town!
Founders were Kenny Raw & Quincy Steveninck but since Quincy (more well known from the duo Soul Phonic) but now Ken’s organising it alone since Quincy decided to take the music a bit slower now.
Kenny Raw, also a Radio Dj with his own show Move Your Body (since 2002), has years of musical experience, on the dancefloor as a dj but also as a producer & party promoter. He played in several well known international clubs & parties and his style can best be described as warm, sexy, psychedelic, funky, underground Tech house with a twist of minimal, techno, progressive & Acid house.
Earlier guest of MOVE! were people like Jamie Anderson (Nrk, Front room rec / UK), Aril Brikha live (Kompakt, Pokerflat / SE), ESTROE (Connaisseur, Mysterland), Tommy Moye (Wrong Music, New York), Nathan Coles ( Wiggle, Fabric / UK), Auto Sound (Fever, Bilbao Spain), Compuphonic (Dirty dancing rec, Turbo records) David Garcet (Dirty dancing rec) en Mark Hertz & Wesley Vibes (Catwalk Rotterdam / NL).
In June 2011 MOVE! came back with a great first edition in New York City, organised with good friend Michael Devellis, a gifted musician! With this succes the foundation was built for the re-launch of MOVE!
Saturday, the 3rd of december 2011 was a special edition of MOVE! It was organised for the first time @ Culture Club, Ghent, a very nice location for this event!
After 2 great editions there with Estroe & LouLou players as main guests MOVE! is now back the 14th of April with again a very nice souding line-up!
warmin up : Psytox (Coincidence rec.)
main guest : X-ian (Pioneer Dj)
