On July 21st, Buiten Westen will start. A new festival for music and culture in Amsterdam. This new initiative for electronic music, art, performance in the beautiful and central Westerpark will be a day by and for young, creative Amsterdam. This means no big commercial set-up, but a normal ticket price, much more than just music and a progressive line-up featuring upcoming international artists and talented local heroes.
Buiten Westen is an initiative by Next Monday's Hangover, Pleinvrees and AIR. Next Monday's Hangover leads the creative collective of the festival en will shape the festival area. For the stages, six local progressive parties have gathered to host their own stage: co-host Pleinvrees, Rekorder, Bar 27's Circus Wunderbar, Dekmantel and Michael Jacques' BlackOut, Vrijbuiters and PaardenKracht.
