BENJAMIN FEHR

The berlin based producer, Dj and head honcho of catenaccio records
is permanently working on the development of "groove noir".

artists like ricardo villalobos, roman fluegel, falko brocksieper, jay haze, butane, dana ruh,
or labelhead benjamin fehr I ffwd are working perfectly together
towards the definition of "groove noir", which is the final destination of the label.
basses well under the radar, buzzing sounds, subtle darkness and stumbeling
grooves grow together to the special irritating and hypnotizing idea of catenaccio,
that is also brought to you through the special weird artwork of the covers.
you will find catenaccio tracks in charts and cases of magda, ritchie hawtin,
dinky, luciano, zip, jeremy caulfield, karotte, mia, chloe, jennifer cardini and many others.

since 1993 he is working as a dj in lots of clubs and radioshows.
he was resident in several clubs, like ostklub frankfurt (1997-2000), the institution robert johnson
club offenbach ("electric circus" with roman flügel, zip, heiko m.s.o. and krystyna, 1999-
2002), schmalclub (an experimental clubconcept between art, performance and
music hosted by william forsythe) and the legendary kiosk (frankfurt/m).

numerous national and international bookings followed (like panoramabar, init, wmf, watergate,
bar 25, club der visionäre -all in berlin, pudel club hamburg, lounge hamburg, sushi bar paris,
kunsthalle innsbruck, arttheater cologne, arma 17 moscow, harry klein münchen,
vrstck dortmund......).
after some experiences in running a pirate radio station in frankfurt (with sascha
benedetti) since 1994, he played regulary in several radioshows (rdl freiburg, dj night
& twen arena on radio x frankfurt...). from 2004 to 2010 he had his own monthly show that
was called "catenaccio - the radioshow" on radio x.

in his adapted home frankfurt am main (while studing arts and grafics) he was an
activist in organizing illegal parties in hidden places and buildings in frankfurt and
offenbach.

in 2002 he run the charming, illegal, one year existing club kiosk (schutzkontakt.com), that
invited lots of famous and beloved people like ricardo villalobos, zip, roman flügel,
closer music, akufen, lawrence, luciano, stl, dandy jack, sasse or benno blome in a personal and familiar
surrounding.

in 2004 benjamin fehr started his label catenaccio.

since 2005 benjamin fehr lives and works in berlin.

since 2008 he has a regular "groove noir night" at "club der visionäre", the best summer location in berlin,
where he and his guests are going deep into dark electronics.

in the last years he produced besides on his own imprint catenaccio on labels like
foundsound, brouqade, lowmidhigh lmtd, tic tac toe, nervmusic, adjunct and many more.

since 3 years he is working also on his project "the result" that is a coproduction with
falko brocksieper (sub-static, karloff, contexterrior, tuning spork).
inspired to create a laid back environment between improvisation and restriction,
the two are exploring ways to join their different views on shared passion for deep,
dark and organic and abstract techno.

soon there will be out releases or remixes on eminor, nervmusic, suena hermosa,
3117 records, leet and for sure mean records.

RYAN HAWKIN

Owner and boss of Finefood Records, passionate about electronic music for over fifteen years, Ryan Hawkin multiplies the projects and shows by his artistic approach, the evolution of his acoustic world. At the same time deejay and producer, informatician, graphic artist and web designer, he dedicates the many facets of his talent to his passion.

Ryan made his first steps as a composer in the late nineties with a release in 98 of a techno compilation. He "rediscovered himself musically" both in DJing and in production. (he played in the biggest events that were held in Switzerland around 1995 -2003).

Ryan gradually leaves the world of raves and starts mixing music, more clubbing oriented. By getting involved in the music he truly loves - sounds become more refined and surprising.

In 2006, while continuing to mix, he focuses on parallel tools such as the web publishing, useful for the development of his ongoing projects. In 2008, Ryan withdraws into the privacy of his small home studio to reach a kind of musical maturity, before presenting again his music to his audience. We were able to discover it in particular during some live sessions with Konpiuta ...

In 2010, He began performing live performance and it create the label Finefood records. His amazing and innovative performance as a deejay and live performance has raised him to the rank of charismatic performers in the Swiss electronic scene.

In 2011, he released his first release on Finefood with Jool Rmx Mini, a young Swiss producer artist amount ... And it was released two rmx, one for abstrakt rec from Argentina and one for Arteria Music from Italy. 2012, It happens with several rmx project will follow, including The Forge Ep done in collaboration with David Fjirgenson with Benjamin Fehr rmx .. MIA KALTES

It can be said about Mia that she was really born into music as she was already dancing in the womb of her mother who was a pianist. At 8 years old she started playing the violin and studied music theory at the conservatory, she also played drums and piano. Her path has often mingled with musicians and artists of all genres.

Self-taught she watches carefully, learns, and then applies what she has learnt. Since 2004, she has been playing in different clubs and bars throughout Switzerland and Prague with her good friend Miss duckin in the Girlz Attack (Feeling & Sound) concept. Mia does not adhere to one style of electronic music and plays several different styles. It becomes difficult to put names on these styles today.

Her attraction to the Berlin sound takes her through several variants of minimal From minimal techno through to minimal tech house and microhouse, less arid than the former, but just as complex and hypnotic. She is also very comfortable playing deep house, or "deep minimal house" through to tech house. She is a vibrant artist and making people dance, making them escape through music is what makes her tick.

Responsible for the A&R at the Planet E Club, Bienne (CH) for 1 year, she invited artists such as: Benjamin Fehr, Cesare vs Disorder, Gaiser, Seph, Jacqui, Nader, Don Ramon, LuLúxpo, Solange la Frange, Miss duckin, Marc Off , Lega ....

Today it is part of Finefood Records, formed by Ryan Hawkin, Konpiuta, Jacqui, David Fjörgenson, Mini Jool, and Fakincorso. Several projects are in the making with David Fjörgenson. Including: Elegance is Destroyed, which will be on an upcoming album for the label. Other projects will emerge in the coming months with Ryan Hawkin, among others.

She now has a new concept with "The Kaltes Boys", with 2 DJs: Mr Flow and Kairi, to form the group: "Mia Kaltes Kaltes & The Kaltes Boys". The first official event will be October 28, 2011 at the Cave de la Rose in Fribourg. For the evenings "Rose Electro" Technical rider: Vinyls, and Traktor Scratch. "
