Oktave is proud to present a Perc Trax showcase in New York, featuring label head Perc, as well as label artists Donor and Jeff Derringer. The New York showcase is the final date of a three-city US tour for Perc Trax, which also includes dates in Los Angeles and Denver. Both Perc and Jeff Derringer will be playing all three dates of the cross-country jaunt.

Ali Wells, otherwise known as Perc, has established himself as one of the prime movers of the current underground techno scene. His productions have come out on premiere labels like Electric Deluxe, CLR, Stroboscopic Artefacts and many more, while his Perc Trax label continues to release cutting edge techno from artists such as Forward Strategy Group, Donor Truss, Sawf, Hans Bouffmyre, Jeff Derringer, Mick Finesse and more. Perc regularly plays at top clubs all over the world, and returns to the United States for the first time since August of last year. Expect Ali to play his distinctive deep techno sound, which is fused with healthy servings of industrial, drone and experimental electronic music.

Donor is a mainstay on the Perc Trax label and a successful producer in his own right, with releases on Stroboscopic Artefacts, Prosthetic Pressings, Synewave and beyond. Donor's sound is hard to define but always compelling, combining elements of deep techno, dub, industrial and experimental electronica to create a sound uniquely his own. Donor rarely plays out, choosing his appearances carefully, and we are proud to have him as part of the label showcase in his hometown of New York.

Rounding out the bill is Perc Trax artist and Oktave resident Jeff Derringer, who is quickly establishing himself as a producer and artist to watch in the techno community. Jeff's most recent release, the 'Passenger' EP, came out in middle March on Perc Trax, and has since been charted and supported by the likes of Terence Fixmer, Speedy J, Truncate, Perc, Tommy Four Seven, Peter Van Hoesen and many more. Jeff will appear on the Droid Behavior showcase/Interface event at this year's DEMF, and will soon announce two more production projects for release in the next few months.
