Future Sound of Clapton
COMADISCO Friday 20th April w/ Ray Mang (DFA/Mangled)
It is with the deepest regret that I have to announce COMADISCO is back once again on Friday 20th April. Rumour has it that we have lost our beloved guinness hats and balloons of shamrocks at an afterparty which continued in Clapton till totally retarded hours of Sunday afternoon. Brilliant night though, Andy Blake's marvelous 4 hour set with hoover rave (un)classics, a marley anthem and psychedelic breakbeat jams kept us moving all night long.
This month we have invited Ray Mang(DFA/Mangled) for your aural excitement and dancing feet. A veteran of Nu House/Disco Dub scene since late 90's, he's produced for a number of era defining labels such as Eskimo, Nuphonic, Noid, DFA and his own imprint Mangled over the years. His remix of S.E.V. by 9DW(ene records) has been a COMADISCO staple for almost 2 years now and his remake of "Love On A Real Train" is pure magic. Do listen (http://youtu.be/Ae85Nzk9RUM).
He'll be joined, of course, by Clapton's own pachanga boys, Future Sound of Clapton on the decks duty and by our own in-house decoration wing, Moist Yet Workable working their frilly muscle to Bar A Bar which is located between Dalston and Stoke Newington.
The entry will be a recession resistant £4 all night. No guest list as usual. Come as you are and see you on the dancefloor!
P.S. If you like our fb page by 20th April, you will get nothing. But please feel obliged to do so.
