So, another year has passed. The last 12 months featured 3 great parties for [THE BOX] before Melt was lost to the generic machinations of the Sydney scene. However, a new entrant to the scene with its Bunker-esque vibe makes it a natural fit: welcome to the 4th birthday of [THE BOX] at One22. Your excuse to accidentally get wasted and forgo any plans you had for the rest of the weekend is back!
Since our last party, we’ve appreciated everyone who’s asked when [THE BOX] will be back. After 9 months of pent-up anticipation, there’s no doubt the 4th birthday is going to be one to remember (according to your own ability, post-partying with us). However, we still felt need to do something special...
While we rarely venture beyond the gold within the local scene when it comes to booking guests for [THE BOX], we’re proud to have Pig&Dan behind the decks for 3 hours, no less. Over the years, we’ve witnessed party carnage inspired by many Pig&Dan bombs at [THE BOX], so it seemed fitting to have them help us to destroy One22’s dance floor for our 4th birthday. Alongside OGs Jay Smalls, Michael Doney and Michael Scholes we, of course, have our almost-OG and Techno Terrorist, Defined by Rhythm.
What else? Oh, yes. You know those t-shirts we constantly get abused about, as we did such a limited run? Well, here’s your chance to get your own! Those quick enough will get a free t-shirt with a $20 1st release ticket. No need for anyone to miss out though, there’ll be more t-shirts available cheaply at the party.
COME IF YOU DARE!
