Swimming
Swimming is a five-piece art-rock band from Nottingham. They are singer and guitarist John Sampson, brother Peter Sampson aka The Petebox on drums and vocals, Joff Spittlehouse (guitars), Blake Pearson (bass) and most recently Sam Potter (samplers / keyboards) also of Late of The Pier.
The Guardian say “This lot specialise in surging, shimmering synth-pop refracted through waves of My Bloody Valentine guitar hazeâ€
Future Sound Share say that their songs Neutron Wireless Crystal, Sun In the Island and In Ecstatics have sounds of epic proportions, that will make you feel ten feet tall as you walk down the street listening to them on your pod. We look forward to seeing them live where they make their sound even bigger and dramatic.

Saturday Night Gym Club
Joining the musical dots across the Irish Sea, Saturday Night Gym Club is an Anglo-Irish collective of electronic storytellers. They deftly weave threads of organic pop brilliance into the fabric of bass-heavy dancefloor euphoria. Emerging from the dry ice, you hear irresistibly catchy vocal melodies. A galaxy of assorted synths, drum machines and violins form textures which are state-of-the-art and deeply resonant. SNGC's material was self-produced on an array of machines, in a multitude of locations, with no fixed studio. Each musical thread therefore inherits the inevitable influence of the environment in which it was created. Hours upon hours spent on crawling trains, endless conference calls and too many emails. From this pandemonium, something eloquent, unique and beautiful emerged. The new track ‘I know’ features the enchanting voice of singer-songwriter Ellie Walker. It sports analogue synth parts written on the Northwest tip of Ireland, with drums engineered on a flight into Edinburgh.
SNGC featured on the very first Future Sound Share playlist this time last year and I am extremely happy to have them play.

Tree Pit
Tree pit bring together differing musical backgrounds and influences to create the trio’s unique blend of sounds. They have been attracting industry attention from high profile support slots and collaborations on their debit EP. We look forward to seeing them bring their sound to the live stage. 2012 looks to be a promising year and one which they are also excited about by stating “There is a lot to expect from 2012 and if it’s going to be the end of the world… let’s finish it with good music.â€
