Chinese Laundry are proud to be presenting at Bass Mafia the DJ who launched our weekly Bass Music night DJ LORD from PUBLIC ENEMY

We will also have a surprise guest who will be announced on Monday 30th April

DJ Lord

Hailing from Savannah, Georgia and now calling Atlanta home, DJ Lord has been acknowledged for years in the competition circuit as one of the best turntablists in the World.

Recognizing the skills of his greatest role models including Grandmaster Flash, Jam Master Jay, Mixmaster Mike and Jazzy Jeff, Lord spent years honing his craft to raise his caliber amongst these renowned greats. It was after demonstrating his turntable expertise for members of one of Hip Hops immortal pioneers, Lord stepped up to fill the shoes of the legendary Terminator X for the group Public Enemy.

Joining Public Enemy on their 40th World Tour, Lord was soon granted his own performance segment within the PE show. It is with these performances that Lord gained worldwide recognition and acceptance amongst an elite group of turntablists and soon became a highly sought after commodity. While DJ battles and Hip Hop have been at the foundation of his career, Lord is also widely recognized in the Drum & Bass arena; captivating audiences with his mesmerizing fusion of Drum & Bass with Hip Hop breaks and beats. A firsthand look into the world of Lord and the art of turntablism is documented in the DVD, DJ LORD The Turntablist Chronicles, released in 2004.

In addition to PE, Lord is currently touring solo with Flavor Flav in his solo effort as well as performing with various rock bands including Confrontation Camp, 420 Monks and recently dubstep giants TrillBass.
