What do Russia and Scotland have in common? Cold temperatures, sweeping landscapes and now the Northern Lights. But living in the city, you're lucky if you see a star, never mind one of the strangest and most beautiful natural phenomena in the world...

...until you bring them to the Arches.

As part of the Smirnoff Battle Of The Clubs we went head to head in a competition with the Liquid Room in Edinburgh to decide which venue was more worthy of bringing you one of the best club nights in the UK, and you voted for us. So thank you.

In return, on Saturday 19th May we will be transforming the building into an ethereal Northern wilderness - complete with a full night sky showing the Northern Lights in action, combining the dark excitement of a rave with the mind-blowing production of a big club to bring you one of the most beautiful (electronic) light shows ever seen in the Arches.

Oh, and it'll all be soundtracked by one of our favourite DJs and producers of all time, the legendary Felix Da Housecat, as well as French house remixer du jour Fred Falke and a host of the most solid local talent we think worthy of supporting them.

Oh, and there'll be Smirnoff drinks promotions galore, including our own specially created Northern Lights cocktails.
