With the first Technokunst of the summer, we’re going to tear open the door of a quite lively period, as we are going to take care, that Budapest will not miss fresh, cool techno even on the hottest weekends!
In May, we are going to throw a double one right away, as besides the general pillars of our series (a.k.a. Isu and Dork), we will be visited by two foreign artists on the Boat.
The ultimate star of the night will be the British techno-pioneer, Inigo Kennedy, who now - following his countless previous Hungarian club gigs - can also show us why he is reigning the charts of the underground even after so many years, on the wonderfully pounding soundsystem of A38. Grimey, dark Manchesterian taste, close working relations to Regis, club-demolishing live acts all over the world - Kennedy is a real techno-crowdpleaser in the most dirty and violent way possible.
Our other guest, the Frankfurter Monoloc will arrive directly from the label CLR, under the wings of Chris Liebing. The surprisingly young DJ-producer discovered techno only in 2001, but these few years were more than enough to establish his name and his music’s characteristic pulsating on all mentionable European festivals and clubs. Monoloc likes mid-tempo, inhumanely deep bass and horrifyingly overmodulated effects - and we like Monoloc, his DJ-sets and his steady-as-concrete podcasts. No wonder, that he was the most demanded DJ around Technokunst’s headquarters recently!
The wondrous visuals of the night will be taken care of by Kiégő Izzók.
