Holon Collective

Holon collective is an international collective of passionate music minds working from three continents - in the UK Israel and Australia.

Holon Collective was founded in HAMAKLET Studios.

We are a group of musicians with raw talent and passion for good art. It started work in small cells and manifested a few bands like Group Channels, Homeland Visitors and many other solo acts and collaborations such as Mr. Tox and ADMx.

Our focus is to make interesting music, wether by experimentation with computer technology or by a live act which we call a jam - a jam in Holon Collective means a network of computers and operators putting their software skills to create music on the fly using live synthesis, live sample manipulation, improvisation and different uses of acoustic instruments.

We have also recently started working with the amazing saxophone - RUDI TIESSLER, who runs his reed through a computer as well, all and all creating a vibrant atmosphere.

I got initialized in music around the 1993, where the hip - hop and chicago house stablished a long era in me.

By initiations in music began around 1993 where hip hop and chicago house pointed a long era in myself, after it is when we all start to methodically redefine your ear and I wanted to width my musical culture with other styles that I was starting to listen, as psychedelic and dark sounds, that were known as minimal, and since that point I started to set as a dj in my area.

After some time, as the majority of djs, I wanted to be able to play my own themes, so I started to create them with also some set lives, organizing events, both in my local area and abroad.

During this years I have always wanted to discover new styles, new technologies, and experiment with different ways to do music.

Manuel Solà,

I record mixes as Solâ and Mano de Santo, also host a podcast named Teapod.

I really enjoyed Blue Line's massive attack record while I was at Art School in Menorca.

An innovative and exciting event brought to you by some of the most talented artists and designers across Europe.
Live Expressions will be theme of the night and the event will be streamed live via USTREM on the internet.
