It's time to celebrate once again my friends because Bunker 194 is one year old!!
The London friend's concept party has grown over the year and Bunker 194 has remained true to it's name as there have been some amazing parties, great music and good times over the past year. We aren't ready to stop yet either, we have only just started, with our friend's list getting bigger, the music getting better and the venues getting cooler, the only way for Bunker 194 is UP.
Join us on our journey and help us celebrate our special anniversary in style, with a special venue, and an amazing line up. Keeping in line with our moto we have our special friends Tomoki Tamura (Holic) and Miss Fenter joining us at the very cool East Village, as well as our very own resident Dj's Bruno Balbino, Brenno and Freaklou.
Bunker 194 wouldn't be where it is today If it wasn't for you our Bunker friends, so join us on the 12th May to celebrate once again. We'll bring the best in deep House, funk, groove and disco and you bring your smiles and good vibes as always.
Let's party!!
London based Dj/Producer Tomoki Tamura.
Tomoki is probably one of the most successful japanease djs in the world.
In 2004 he moved to London where he has continued to rock the floor in top venues such as Fabric,Ministry of sound and Plastic people to name but a few. He was resident dj at london's legendary club The END/AKA from 2007 until it finally closed its doors in 2009.
His own party HOLIC has quickly become one of the most important events in london, every month bringing a wide range of quality house, techno djs from around the world. His selection of guest djs are unique and always gather attention from the london club scene's main players.
Holic is not only for London, his party has got a permanent residency at Japan's top club - Womb which is now recognized as one of the best clubs on the planet. He is the main underground music ambassador between London and Japan.
Tomoki’s trademark fusion of deep, tech, electro, minimal and soulful influences has won him many admirers and
he was the first ever Japanese DJ on Ministry of Sound Radio while also holding down a weekly slot on House FM. Simultaneously tough and soulful, dark and uplifting, - his style retains more than enough
depth and technique to satisfy the fussiest of house-heads without losing the sort of funk and groove that keeps the
dance floor rammed and rocking.
In 2008 his debut EP Tomoki&nono/Voices&3years(Four:Twenty) has become No 1 Chart on deep house of world biggest music store Beatport.
And after this release Satoshi Tomiie has selected his production skills, and he has signed 2 releases as Tomoki&nono from Saw recordings.
His track Lark was used for one of the most famous Mix CD's of recent times, Satoshi Tomiie's 3D(Renaissance).
In 2009 He signed his own productions to Germany's Plastic City and New York's Nite Grooves to name but a few.
Its not just an England / Japan thing either, many places in between have felt the Tomoki effect; he has guest DJ’ed at
parties in Berlin, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Belarus,Greece and Turkey. With a few notable exceptions.
