Coalition & Intec Digital presents
Jon Rundell & Trevor Rockcliffe plus Very Special Guest
Carl Cox’s Intec Digital, a record label synonymous with cutting edge underground techno and legendary late night parties will be taking over Brighton’s Coalition nightclub on Friday 1st June. In the early hours of Saturday morning Jon Rundell, Trevor Rockcliffe and a very special guest will be hitting the decks to take the party all the way into the sunrise. With Carl Cox and Fatboy Slim rocking the Amex stadium earlier that night Brighton is going to be jam packed, and as Brighton’s only after-hours venue make sure you get your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
Since re-launching in 2009 Intec Digital has gone from strength to strength. Strictly maintaining an ethos of quality underground music, the label has given the world release’s from Jon Rundell, Just Be (Bushwacka!), Yousef, Umek & many more over the last few years, including Carl Cox’s latest artist album – All Roads Lead to the Dancefloor.
Intec Digital is renowned for programming and running legendary events at festivals and clubs all over the world. From Dance Valley in Amsterdam to Space in Ibiza, and Coalition in Brighton is no exception; this will be a very special after hours party.
Jon Rundell
One of the UKs best underground artists currently in the electronic music scene Jon Rundell has had a fantastic year, still riding high from his Beatport number one “Knick Knack”, he has been playing sets all over the world. From the main room at Space in Ibiza, alongside Carl Cox and Ritchie Hawtin, to Australia’s huge Stereosonic Festival, to rocking the Ultra Music Festival in Miami before Dubfire. There really is no stopping Jon, but he is just happy to be playing good music that he believes in, in his own words – “I don’t want to ram it down people’s necks in a contrived way. I like the music to do the talking and connect with people there and then. I just make sure people have a great time.”
Trevor Rockcliffe
One of the original legends of the Techno scene Trevor started playing back in the mid 80s in South London where his mixing skills and love of music caught the attention of Carl Cox who has championed him from day one. Having released tracks on Intec Digital’s original incarnation Intec Records Trevor is a true Intec veteran. He has played all over the world from Australia, Portugal, Prague to New York, you name the place Trevor has entertained and educated the crowd with his mastery of the decks.
This is set to be a momentous party with some very special guests dropping in on the night.
Tickets are £8 and are available at Ape, Resident & Rounder Records.
