PHATWORLD [Squires & Dankle]
(Off Me Nut)
The new collaboration from Off Me Nut label owners and Coin Operated artists Dankle and Tich (one half of Squire of Gothos). Taking a slightly more bouncey, garagey vibe than Squire's, Phatworld tunes are catchy and guaranteed to make you move. Music speaks louder than words, check out the fantastic new Brock Out Mix by Dankle for a taste of their new productions.
Co-owner of Coin-Op records, with 2 releases on the label in the bag. Rrritalin's music is a mashup of the past 30 years of dance music, taking elements from bassline, oldskool hardcore, jungle, techno and UK garage in his attempt to recreate the first time he went raving. After killing it at Bangface this set should be a stormer. Check out the soundcloud for more...
Coin-Op's label boss, need I say more? Ok, well through his legendary label Mustard Gunn has introduced us to the likes of Kanji Kinetic, Squire of Gothos, Jerome Hill, Michael Forshaw and Pirate Soundsystem. I personally have an extra love of this label as they release on vinyl, AND coined the term Mutant Bass. He's been slaying dancefloors for years with his sets, and this one will be no exception.
(Off Me Nut/Mutant Bass/Bitcrusher)
Twisting bassline, moombah and dubstep into new forms Gash's productions always offer something fresh and unique. Check out his remixes for Bass Hound Records and Off Me Nut along with his latest self-titled contribution to the In The Face EP.
(Mutant Bass/Sub FM/Off Me Nut/Basshound/S&T Audio)
SUB FM DJ & producer Hadean brings the bouncey garage & hard mutant basslines into the fray. A prolific producer with tracks on Mutant Bass S&T, Basshound, & Off Me Nut, Hadean is an up and comer not to be missed.
(Sleazetone/Off Me Nut/Mutant Bass)
In his time away from the hectic pace of being a sound engineer and ensuring his multicores are colour coded, Simtek writes dirty bassline, wonky techno and fidget that melds future wobbles and oldskool sounds. With tracks on Off Me Nut, Bass Hound and Mutant Bass, as well as a forthcoming EP on Sleazetone his work is admired far and wide.
Heavy hitting selector and favourite of many a brighton free party. He tore the house down last time he played for us and we're chuffed to invite him back to represent the showdem sound once more.
