TIM GREEN
Prepossessing the ability to effortlessly maneuver through the realms of house and techno, as dawn breaks over 2012 the many facets of Tim Green’s production dexterity is casting reflections in innumerable directions, illuminating a musical and thought-induced excursion on which the 27-year old is embarking.

Experimenting across the spectrum of electronic music, whether putting out reverberating minimal techno of Amnesia peak-time kind-of-measures, or sprinkling some of that unmistakeable TG charm over productions of popular appeal, his work is stamped by ingenuity, fearlessness and fun – which also granted him the ‘Best Breakthrough Producer’ award at DJ Mag’s Best of British in 2010.

After fully bursting onto the scene in 2008 with modern classics ‘Revox’ and ‘Mr Dry’ snapped up by highly-revered Dirtybird and Trapez Records respectively, and picking up support from top players such as Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin and Luciano along the way, Tim swiftly catapulted himself into the upper echelons of the techno hierarchy. A string of high profile releases followed in short succession adding Cocoon, Get Physical, Saved & Four:Twenty to an already impressive back catalogue, as well as remixes for XL Records, Sci+Tec, Moshi Moshi and Souvenir.

With an idiosyncratic groove and off-kilter cheekiness his sound has seen him tour the electronic bastions of the world, including Space - Ibiza, Womb - Tokyo, Fabric - London, Sankeys - Manchester, Watergate - Berlin, D-edge - Sao Paulo, Electric Pickle - Miami, WHP - Manchester, Bestival - Isle Of White, SW4 Festival - London, Zouk - Singapore, Rex Club - Paris. As we are heading into 2012 Tim makes a welcomed return to his underground roots, captivating crowds in more intimate yet discerning settings, along with heading up his own night Bedlam, which is currently on everyone’s lips.

On the production side of things 2012 is already looking like another stella year with with a dark and twisted remix of Sacha Robotti ft Qzen's Fotograf on Klasse Recordings and, following on from last year's ‘In Love EP’ on Get Physical, he has teamed up with Robert Dietz & Audiofly for a remix package due for release in April. This summer will see him return once more to Cocoon to release the outstanding ‘Curious Smile’ release, plus an EP for Get Physical and remixes for Supernature & Oh Yeah Records, as well as his much anticipated debut artist album.

If taking into consideration the achievements Tim has reached in the span of merely four years, it is a gathered electronic community that awaits his next move, Where to next?

SIMON BAKER
A rejuvenated Simon Baker heads into 2012 with the result of a recent move to London dramatically expanding his horizons. The exposure to new surroundings and sources of inspiration has seen him throw himself into studio work during the first months of the year, with exciting results already materialising.

Before the first rays of spring arrive, Simon returns to home label 2020 Vision with the ‘Let Me In’, complete with a Lee Curtiss remix. There is a welcome return to Get Physical with the outstanding ‘Trust’ single, an EP on label du jour Leftroom, and he teams up with Robert James for collaborations on Saved and Hot Creations. An appearance on hotly-tipped new UK imprint Fina is also pencilled in the calendar before he works his internationally acclaimed remix muscles on Marvin Zeyss’ ‘Keep On’, out on I Records in March.

Pitching between house, deep house and techno, with his debut LP ‘Traces’ on 2020 Vision last year – greeted unanimously by the electronic community with accolades from Resident Advisor, DJ Mag and Electronic Groove, receiving a 5/5 as ‘Album of the Month’ in DJ Mag and ending up in the former’s ‘Top 20 Albums OF The Year’ –Simon showcased his most musical side to date. Distinctly awash with the impending Leeds sound, which also spurned the ‘Grey Area Remix’ package with re-rubs from Steve Bug and Burnski & Robert James, ‘Traces’ added to an already impressive list of plaudits, with breakthrough release ‘Plastik’ (Playhouse/Infant) being voted #4 in Resident Advisor’s prestigious single of the year 2007 poll, and his ‘Piano Lessons’ re-edit on Foot and Mouth featuring in Mixmag’s best 100 singles of the year in 2010.

On the back of an extensive world tour, Simon being a regular fixture at the BPM festival in Mexico, Kehakuma at Space in Ibiza, fabric in London, not to mention the many air london showcases in Miami, Paris, Barcelona and Ibiza, in the months to come he looks to add to his mindboggling back-catalogue with a plethora of forthcoming releases and collaborations on some of today’s hottest imprints.

Simon initially started out by running his own imprint Infant back in 2004 and, in doing so, made a natural stepping-stone to move on and work with the other artists and labels that would help define his reputation as one of the Brit talents to watch. The relocation to the UK capital is the latest, natural step.

Beaner is a master at losing mobile phones and staying awake for long periods of time without the aid of stimulants. He enjoys masturbation, difficulty, overcoming odds, and tear-jerking finales. Together with C.L.A.W.S. he is WarVsSleep and is one third of supergroup the 3 Good Doctors with Agaric and Ed Davenport.

Born in the depths of a Tajikistan prison, to a priest and a prisoner, Beaners life was never meant to be lived. One botched abortion later, screams and cries were heard round the world. A star is born! Raised later by wolves and the Jim Jones Peoples Temple he heard the calling through howls and shared cult hymns. Its MUSIC time!!! (not unlike the kool-aid man bursting through the walls). The Circus- San Francisco. The Generator- London. The Vieux Port- Marsielles. The Tufts Campus Arts House- Boston. The ABC No Rio- New York. The Gutter- Seattle. All just stops on the rollercoaster ride to Berlin. And Wildly Unchecked Success! A Residency at Bar25 (the studio 54 of the sexting generation) and releases on a smattering of recording labels followed. And the world cooed, like a dirty, dirty bitch. 2012 will bring the launch of anarcho-situationist cult-label-brigade "La Mission". The stars will melt and we will drink them from our cups. Revolución!

Oh, honey please dont give your heart to a world system based on exploitation of the luckless, give you heart to US!
