Like every time Kiss me Kate is glad to introduce you one of the most up and coming live act of the season :
Jan Blomqvist.

Music is emotion, and through electronic music emotions are transfered more easily when the sound is warm and organic as opposed to canned and cold. Those who've listened to Jan Blomqvist know that his music definitely doesn't belong to the latter category because the sounds he uses are 100 % self-formed and perfectly underscore his distinct and secure voice, making his music alive and close.
Today his sound can be described as a mixture of Radiohead, Muse, Bodi Bill, Stephan Bodzin and James Holden - a beautiful balancing act between melancholic, melodic electro-pop and euphoric minimal techno making Jan one of the most interesting and promising young artists in Berlin at the moment.
Federleicht is for the second time guest of Kiss me Kate. Built on minimalist structure, transparent rhythms and varying mood and tempo, Federleicht, or ‘light as a feather’ in English, claims its position as a star of electronic music. While Federleicht’s sound transcends typical dance music, their releases has proven to be popular on the club circuit. Far from the typical restrictive club style, partners Florian Schirmacher and Marc Bammann developed a project that reflects another sphere of sound—their blending works seemingly so easily, effortlessly, that each song creates a strong ambient feeling.
To complete the line up the intriguing dj set of Livio Pinna, floating between tech-grooves and smooth atmospheres , and the well known to the Renate's friends Florian Schirmacher.
