Promoter / Dalston Sunday Club
Dalston's best kept after-hours secret of 2011 has been dragged kicking and screaming into the public domain, now holding court the last Sunday of every month at Ridley Road Market Bar.
The party was founded by Per Bojsen-Møller (podcast producer and writer for littlewhiteearbuds.com) and Andrew Lo-Train (Minimal London) at the start of 2011. Under the name Mirrorcube, the two initially held the events at a secret Dalston warehouse location and streamed via the web, though 2012 has marked the emergence of DSC into the public.
This month's festivities sees DSC residents Mirrorcube joined by mainstays Nikolaj and Jean-Robert Saintil, with special guest Chris Woodward (Buzzin' Fly).
Along with Per Bojsen-Moller, Nikolaj and Jean-Robert Saintil are also part of the Solar crew whose monthlies at Shoreditch speakeasy Manero's have been hotting up the already steamy East end basement.
Chris Woodward was picked up by Buzzin' Fly in 2003 and has since become their resident disc jock, building an impeccable reputation through their regular parties and jaunts around Europe, as well as for his own production and remix work.
As ever, the incredible Homeslice pizza crew will be providing sustenance on the patio.
The party finishes at 10:30pm so make sure you get down early.
