Tonight's Bonito House Club duo of giants is an excellent pairing of very innovative and cutting-edge representatives of the genre. Justus Köhncke is a German techno producer and musician from Cologne. Köhncke was a member of the house trio Whirlpool Productions, along with Hans Nieswandt and Eric D. Clark. Together, they had a number one hit in Italy in 1997 with their house track "From Disco To Disco". Since 1999, he has released tracks on the Cologne label Kompakt. In his music he combines minimal techno with disco elements. In the last few years, he has also worked on soundtracks with Irmin Schmidt, a member of the band Can. Together with Kai Althoff they produced under the name Subtle Tease. Blending 80's soul, R‘n’B, funk and disco with smooth and groovy house beats, Paul Bonomo aka Snax has been a regular at our diverse Queer Bonito House events and his gigs create dancing frenzy on the floor. Formed in the late 90's in New York by Snax and T DeLong (then TJ Free), Bedroom Productions created a totally unique blend of hip-hop, electronic and punk on their two albums “Bedroom Productions” and “Fast Cars, Fast Women.” Reunited years later in Berlin, the two produced “No Glove, No Love”; an anthem for those on the sexual fringes and a dance tune that in a short 3:36 covers HIV prevention, transgenderism and general survival. The 2012 re-release has been remastered and features a stomping deep house remix by Berlin’s Box Office Poison. The Tresor Floor features the return of our frequent guest and mighty techno DJ with a bite Torsten Kanzler, who shares the decks with Authentic Pew's Perhil & Aertsa (check their Soundcloud tracks of spacey and minimal rediness); Mark Tourneur from southern Germany who brings a definite passion to his techno spinning; and Acid-Alien whose experimental and dark techno has inspired and mesmerized fans throughout Germany at all the major festivals and events where he has played. Two floors, two distinct styles, two ways to inspire yourself - we make the choice available to you, since 1991.
