Our next Arthouse party comes a week earlier than normal so we can bring one of the most revered and respected deep house producers and DJs around, Dubbyman. Dubby has been DJing since ’82 and has recently become one of the most sought after men in Europe. We first met him at Freerotation where he played 2 sets across the weekend that kept us front and centre on the dance floor. He has regularly plays at played Sonar, Chicago, Berlin, London and almost everywhere inbetween. We highly recommend checking out any releases on his Deep Explorer label especially the recent pieces of wax that have included tracks from Fred P, Larry Heard, Kai Alice and Ernie.
Moid and John Hanley will be slipping and sliding behind the decks before Dubby comes on, casually rolling from one groove to the next. The night will of course be in the Deaf Institute basement room with extra sound installed especially and places will be limited to 70 people so it should get nice and cosy.
To get your ears into the kinds of music you might hear and to find out a bit more information on our guest check out any of the below links where you should be able to find a raft of podcasts waiting to be downloaded:
