Nestled between Supperclub at the Vogue Theater and Musso & Frank, the new lounge greets guests via a small garden patio around the back, which leads to a wooden staircase. High-back booths line one wall opposite the bar, softly lighted via sconces with a slightly Art Deco feel.
The cozy bar's most curious feature is an antique 1920s Parisian-style copper elevator cage sourced from a building in New York. Velvet cloth curtains conceal a daybed inside the regal-looking cage, where VIP patrons can sip craft cocktails in private.
For starters, that means guests may hear the Black Keys, the Kills, Phoenix and "anything that Jack White does," Khan said. Later at night, "the music will pick up."

on a starry night in Miami during Art Basel, when the wind whipped its way down Lincoln Ave and snapped at the already abbreviated skirts on revelers waiting to get into the Mr. Brainwash x Lovecat party. There was a good reason to wait outside in such blustery weather—Discowhat spinning his unique blend of dance floor gems. The Parisian-bred DJ toured all over Europe before linking with Brainwash and moving to LA in 2005. He is now the resident DJ for all of the artist’s events, explaining, “now I play only in careful, selected venues were I can play rare music that I want to share from my huge collection of vinyl.”.
