Thursday is the night when you ask "it's Thursday in Berlin: what's goin' on?". Just beFORE the weekend starts and you head out to PLAY, sandwiched between humpday and the beginning of the weekend, we strongly advise warming up with a dose of FOREPLAY in Tresor Club! If there was ever a darker hole in the week then it's Thursdays but this is filled in nicely tonight. Markus Schatz is one of the Berlin originals, has been playing for many years in the Berlin club scene, including 7 years as a Tresor resident, and producing music himself since 2004. He translates his enthusiasm for the many diverse faces of electronic music into complex productions that provide his sets a tingly mix of deep house elements, impulsive percussion-styles and clear minimal-beats. With his keen sense of the dancefloor dynamics, Markus Schatz always gets his compositions to the point where the dancing crowd reacts wildly. Alex Kiefer's sound is a mix between minimal/tech-house and sometimes trancy influences. In 2007 he received his first bookings in clubs like Rosis, Villa and Morlox. Today he plays at the hottest clubs all over the world, presenting his excessive and explosive DJ sets. He manages one of the main minimal labels in germany "Code2 Records" and also runs the sublabel "Taldor Records" but he also works together with other labels like Indalo, Gemini and BDivision. Oliver Markreich aka Cur.l creates experimental housy productions. He found his own unique style between house mininmal and techno and he improves permanently over the years. In the time he lived in Switzerland and Lake Constance he became well-known as house DJ in clubs like Douala or Dome and he was also travelling for 3 weeks to Ibiza playing in clubs like Blue Marlin.
