Sticky, sweaty, sluggy summer. The season is upon us and what better way to kick it off than with one of the hottest artists of 2012, Oliver. Hosting their NYC debut, Powerslug is cranking the disco heat to 11 with an all-night dance party. This time we are moving venues to Gallery Bar in the Lower East Side, a bi-level art lounge made complete with a photo booth. Residents Headband and Hooligan will be serving up house treats before Oliver sets the place ablaze. Come one, come all, just don’t forget your dancing shoes.

Oliver’s meteoric rise in 2012 has been no accident. After releasing their Dirty Talk EP in January to rave reviews, Oliver churned out remixes for the likes of Childish Gambino, Smalltown DJs, and Punks Jump Up. The duo’s remix of Foster The People’s “Don’t Stop” was one of the most-streamed tracks on SoundCloud after release, and twice they were featured on Hype Machine’s ‘Most Popular’ chart. This show is not to be missed!
