Martyn is an act we've long had our sights set on and after what seems an unbearable wait we are very proud to announce him as our headline guest for our room at this event on the 8th June.
Martijn Deijkers’, aka Martyn’s, unique strand of bass defies easy categorisation. Yet no matter the genre, tempo or drum pattern, there always remains that immersive, intricately detailed and rhythmically precise sound: to his fans and admirers, it’s known simply as ‘Martyn Music.’ A unique character that’s become emblematic for all that’s forward thinking in dubstep and techno, a defiant out-of-the-box mentality is pushed into his every artistic venture, side-stepping convention and continually stepping forward towards what’s new. Or, more often than not, what’s next.
If you caught him touring last year on the back of his wonderful offering 'Ghost People' , you'll have some idea of how excited we are about welcoming him. His list of affiliated labels reads like a FACT magazine list of 'Best labels 2009-2012, and probably is.. Warp / Hyperdub / Ostgut Ton / Soulr Revolver / Tempa / Applepips / Aus Music / Tectonic.
A champion of bending the boundaries and an undeniably adept DJ/performer, this guy will blow you mind. Roll on 8th June!!!

Support will come from mr David Martin, a prominent figure in House & Techno in the North. Responsible for Modern Amusement in Leeds which has in a relatively short amount of through some stellar lineups and guests been elevated to become one of the most respected party's North of the M25 and layed out a blueprint for ourselves in the process.
