Noisekölln focuses on experimental music in a broader way than your usual pedal-fiddling grunt in a basement or art gallery. Noise is more than just unbearable frequencies or Merzbow. It’s an anti-lifestyle on the fringes of music. Apart from rules and social norms. Punk was a movement to subvert common-sense living and instigate a new type of self. To trigger new senses. Noisekölln plays with the idea of sense itself. A constant evolution that pushes against the idea of a single scene and seeking others with identikit views. We are not a political
youth culture or fashion circle-jerks. We are Noisekölln. Frequencies and static will be reassembled to feed the demand for the new and weird. The complicated and distorted. The truth and the lies. They are part of the same whole and we want to see it implode.
