This Saturday 30th of June, Radiomade & Fatty Fatty will once again set up shop in the Sugar Club, and this their fifth party of 2012, they bring you one of their most exciting international guests to date. For the last date on his Summer European Tour, over to Dublin for the first time since his memorable performance back in 2004, Chicago House legend, Boo Williams.
Kicking off his DJ career back in 1981, at the young age of 14 years old, Boo Williams learned his trade playing historic Chicago clubs like The Muzik Box and the Warehouse, taking influence from the pioneering producers and DJs of tha time, Frankie Knuckles, Ron Hardy & Marshall Jefferson to name but a few. Boo Williams would then go onto be an instrumental figure in the mid-90s second wave of Chicago house music. Along side producers likes Green Velvet, Felix the Housecat, Derrick Carter and DJ Funk, Williams would help evolve the Chicago sound, bringing it to the next generation of clubbers. With releases like his Home Town Chicago album on Relief Records as well as a number of single and EPs off Rush Hour, Williams has slowly been established as one the most admired producers from the city of Chicago.
In support on the night, we have one of Dublin's most talented DJs. Connected to Dublin based labels such as Animal Tune & FVF Records, Russell Simmons will no doubt complement Boo's Deep House sound perfectly on the night. Russell is also a co-founder of This Greedy Pig, an online collective that focus' on music, art and fashion - www.thisgreedypig.com
F.A.T are a newly formed funk band from Dublin, they are scheduled to open up and from what we've heard from these guys already, we are very confident that this a perfect way to kick things off.
