THIS IS A SUNDAY DAY TIME EVENT
ON THE LAB 11 OUTDOOR TERRACE

2PM - 12AM

Joining us on this special occasion we have a line up befitting of such an occasion with James Preistly, Giles Smith, Wbeeza + Ethyl and Flori

[GILES SMITH]
Giles' love affair with all things House and Techno was sparked at the beginning of the 90's after hearing it on the radio. Before long the voodoo lure of the dancefloor and club life was too much to resist and he fell head long into his obsession.
Despite collecting records from the age of 15, it wasn't until moving to London in 2000 after completing his degree that Giles began DJing. Within a very short space of time he made his mark, earning a coveted residency for the Junior Boys Own affiliated Faith parties. Here he played alongside UK stalwarts such as X-Press 2 and Terry Farley and international guests such as Doc Martin, Kerri Chandler and Dubtribe.

[JAMES PRIESTLEY]
James has a distinct djing style, playing broadly what you would describe as deep House & Techno, often borrowing from his freestyle background, preferring to move things around rather than follow one linear groove. You will also notice James' solid musical background in his sets and productions usually favouring strong melodies and warm, organic sounds. His style hasn't gone unnoticed and he regularly plays some of the best clubs and parties around the world, highlights including Cocoon (London), Circo Loco (London), We Love Sundays (Space, Ibiza), Module (Tokyo), Dama de Fera (Rio de Janiero), Propaganda (Moscow), Week-end (Berlin), Manumission (Ibiza) Nitsa & City Hall (Barcelona), Showcase (Paris), Morphine (Hamburg), and in UK Fabric, The End, Bugged Out!, Electric Chair, Basics, Asylum, Boutique, Superfreq, Faith, and Global Gathering, V Festival, Bestival, Hi-Fi, Latitude, Tales of The Jackalope, Bloom and Isle of Wight festivals.

[ETHYL]
Hailing from the leafy home counties and connecting with music at a young age, Tim Hopgood AKA Ethyl, displays a musical knowledge and affinity for the groove far beyond his 25 years. Like many of today's finest, while constantly looking forward, he has one eye placed firmly on the retrospective. First taking to the turntables at the age of 13 and gaining his first residency as soon as the law allowed at 18, Tim has tapped into the mentality of the dance floor, crafting impeccable selections for hypnotic effect. These skills have seen him win slots at the Capital's underground hotspots, across the UK and at Ibiza's most prestigious venues before a production had even dropped.

[FLORI]
Jamie Mark Edward Taylor, or Flori when the creative mood takes him, enjoys nothing more than listening to, playing and making music that doesn't make use of a noisy guitar. He's also not too fond of 808 drum samples. This can get him into trouble when in the company of other house heads but shows his willingness to test the boundaries of his chosen genre - with often unexpected results. Flori's musical know how - gained through a life on the front line - enables him to translate his soul, jazz and funk influences into forward thinking House music for the new decade.

[WBEEZA]
Peckham's finest export and close secretsundaze family friend, Wbeeza (Third Ear). He is one of our firm favourites having performed with us everywhere from Moscow to Barcelona as well of course several dates with us here in London and we're sure most of you are familiar with his unique South London take on the Detroit inspired House sound that he has made his own. Warren Beeza's live shows are equally unique; soulful, dynamic and playful and constantly evolving, using them not only to entertain but as a platform to experiment with new material on the floor before it's committed to wax. Warren's always one to make the party too, not being shy of jumping on the mic, yh yh yh!
