Frames, Felix Lloyd, MikeOne, La Fitz.
The last House Up was so much fun that we're still giving each other high fives for it. We look pretty lame. Thankfully, the June party is here to distract us from the celebratory slaps and to change our topic of conversation to how we top the madness that was the May party.
Our plan starts with Sydney DJ/producer FRAMES. His dance-provoking sets of handclap disco, hipthrust house and letchairdown techno have seen him support the likes of M83 and Deerhoof and play at some of the most highly regarded parties and festivals in Australia. In between his party starting duties, Frames has recently been pumping out quality remixes on a regular basis including a Modular competition-winning remix for Architecture in Helsinki. This guy is definitely one to look out for. Catch him at House Up on his first US tour then brag about being there from the start every time he comes back.
We also have FELIX LLOYD, another Sydney-sider, swinging by for a set. By day Felix works at dance music site inthemix and by night he runs and DJs parties. Basically he lives and breathes music so his DJ sets will likely teach you a thing or two.
Then you have your residents MIKEONE and LA FITZ, doing everything they can to keep you dancing from open to close. If you don't believe us then know that as a result of their dedication, one of them was nearly sick on the dance floor at the last party, and the other accidentally passed out in the final stretch.
In conclusion, come get down in the dark corners of Cameo. You'll have fun.
