Friday 22nd June // Freestyle presents...
Plus SAM REDMORE on the decks
Since forming in 2009, LOBSTER have earned a reputation as one of Birmingham’s most exciting live bands. Their music brings together a love for punk, dub, reggae, roots, dancehall, ska and hip hop, creating a vibrant sound that’s bound to work wonders on the Bull’s Head soundsystem.
ED GEATER returns to Freestyle, having impressed at the night already with some jaw-dropping beatbox performances. This time he’ll be bringing his guitar and loop pedal with him, crafting a more song-based set with equally electrifying results.
Opening up the night will be RUBY TUESDEES, a rock & roll duo recently signed to Birmingham-based Sensitive Records.
Freestyle resident and promoter SAM REDMORE completes the line-up, stepping up to the wheels of steel come the end of the live sets and dropping a choice selection of hip hop, soul, reggae, funk, disco and broken beat.
