Both Subb-an and Miguel Campbell will be heading to Australian shores this summer, Finely Tuned have announced that the pair's Sydney appearance will be to grace the hallowed decks of the Starship Sydney for Agwa Yacht Club 014 - Australia's most revered boat party series.
At just 24 years of age Ashique ‘Subb-an’ Subhan has done much more in his career in dance music than many artists twice his age. He first started DJ-ing at 14 and started a digital production class at 16, landing his first significant residency landed way back in 2005 at Below, one of UK’s most cherished underground institutions.
He continues to move forward in leaps and bounds, recently being named as DJ Mag's ‘Best Breakthrough DJ’ for 2011. As the first headliner to grace the main floor of Agwa Yact Club for the 2012/13 season, Subb-an is sure-fire choice to kick-start the summer season.
Not essentially a newcomer though maybe more of a late-bloomer, Miguel Campbell has been galvanised by the house music scene since the early 90s and has also been a DJ since that time.
Though it wasn't until 2006 when he founded his own label, Outcross Records, and in 2010 he became the newest addition to Jamie Jones and Lee Foss' Hot Creations stable. Prepare for some summery house delights when he takes over the infamous top deck in the spring sunshine.
Local support will come from a roster of solid local talent including Brohn, Co-op, Le Brouts, Sam Roberts and T-Boy.
Agwa Yacht Club 014 will go down on Saturday 17th November, with the first round of tickets on sale July 9th.
