Always a welcome guest in our Bonito hothouse of Wednesday dance nights, Magit Cacoon weaves together different styles using injections of house, techno and even soul. After a three-year residency at the formidable Sweat Lodge Radio, she realized the next natural step was to create a home for her own productions by founding a record label: Girl Scout was born. With a handful of releases so far and more to come, Girl Scout is the home for some of her tracks and remixes, as well as from friends such as P.Toile, Nunu, Astronivo, &Me, Nico Purman and Tigerskin. Tomtomgroove loves House Music! And he is one of those dancers, collectors, DJs and producers whose musical journey and endeavours began in the early 90s when he was one of the creative masterminds of Partyersatzamt. A crew that held parties in a former GDR juvenile prison in the green heart of Germany Thuringia gaining a crowd far beyond its borders. They never tried anything they just did it. Living and working in Berlin since the late 90s he has been releasing records on Polyfon and Broque with his solo projects. Thanks to his deep musical knowledge and faultless mixing skills, Tomtomgroove has been playing at some of the city’s best clubs and parties in the German capital. The Tresor Floor handles the techno situation like a lightening bolt to the ground. This is the birthplace of techno on the European continent and our motto is to keep it real. Tonight the expertise of our skilled resident Ro brings the floor to thundering conditions before he invites two fresh DJs from Germany: DanoMusik from Stuttgart who originally made a name for himself in the Saxony regions electronic music scene before landing in Baden and meeting the F.E.T. e.V. group, where he is still actively involved. Markus Danowski alias BrettHit started producing electronic music in January 2010 and one month later with deejaying. His first mix, which he recorded in three days, was the entry to the live online radio station "BunkerTV", where he signed as resident DJ. His first releases will come out on De Hessejungs label „Sound Of Techno“, Alien Force Digital, and on his own Label HitMusik. All hail to Wednesdays at Tresor!
