Sunil Sharpe (Black Sun Records, Works The Long Nights, Komisch)

Sunil Sharpe is one of Ireland's most celebrated underground DJs. Honing his turntable skills at the end of the '90s, Sunil played his first club gigs in late 2000 - soon gaining a formidable reputation for his quick fire mixing and fast paced sets that were to be heard regularly at clubs across the country and in many parts of Europe (including an early appearance at Berlin's Tresor Club in 2001).
In recent years Sunil has concentrated more time on his own productions, and has recorded for various labels including Black Sun Records, Komisch (as Tricaustic with Jon Hussey), Labrynth, Tonewrecker, Bastardo Electrico, Mantrap and more. He has also become the first signing to Blawan and Pariah's 'Works The Long Nights' imprint. Sheworks 002, a 4-track ep, is out now.
Sunil has been part of national station RTE 2FM's 'Late Night Sessions' team since 2006 (after a long run on both local and pirate radio), where each month he features his top selection of new music as well as guest appearances from some of his favourite acts. He is also a DJ Techniques tutor at Bray Institute of Further Education, where he has taught each year since 2005.
In 2009 Sunil coordinated club events at DEAF (Dublin Electronic Arts Festival) in its sadly last but arguably best year. It was during this that he formed 'Earwiggle' - which ran a short series of one-off events in Dublin, hosting international guests including Planetary Assault Systems, Cari Lekebusch, Adam X, CJ Bolland, Perc, Ancient Methods, Frank De Wulf, Reeko, Michael Forshaw, Smear and Mustard Gunn.
After a near 8-year spell working at Spindizzy record shop (2002-10), Sunil soon made the move to All-City where he established a space for new and secondhand techno/electro/house vinyl under the Earwiggle banner, as well as an in-house label of the same name. The first release was a fierce rave-injected debut 12" from anodyne, followed by Steve Stoll's first full 12" in over five years - 'Hyperrealism Part 3'.
Sunil's popularity has extended its way outside of the techno scene too, and he was further acknowledged in 2011 when he was voted 'Best DJ' at the Irish Dance Music Awards. A firm believer in playing the very best records he has rather than only the new, Sunil's DJ sets reflect his favourite styles from the past up to the present, with his trademark techno energy showing no sign of letting up.

Originally from Kilkeel, N. Ireland, G-ram has been living and djing in New Zealand since 2009, with regular events in places like Bath st Niteclub in Dunedin and Opium in Wanaka.

Resident Dj in Debajo, Queenstown for almost 3 years, Debajo is a favorite club for New Zealands many top class Dj's and a must for any International Dj's on tour - Nick Warren, John Gibbons, Greg Wilson and Vincenzo, just to name a few he has seen and supported in the past few years.

The Ministry of Sound, Clubbers Guide 2011 album release, in Queenstown with Australia's Goodwill headlining was a big event which G-ram was involved in promoting and on support.

G-ram's sets are energy filled, lasting up to 6hours and generally very progressive from tech house, techno and electro, it's all about the crowd!
