Majik Entertainment is proud to host the 'In Search Of Sunrise Australian Tour' featuring international heavyweight Richard Durand at Majik Saturdays Room680 14th of July.
The Richard Durand sound is trance, techno and tough electro in a unique package that's both dynamic and devastating. Having made his mark as a solo producer with the big tech trance bombs 'Make Me Scream' and 'Slipping Away' on the Terminal 4 label, the 2007 follow-ups 'Sweap And Repeat' and 'Submerge' and remixes of Tiesto vs BT 'Break My Fall' and Fragma 'Toca's Miracle' found playlist support from the biggest DJ names on the planet including as Paul van Dyk, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules and Eddie Halliwell to name but a few.
When Black Hole Recordings announced at the start of 2010 that there would be a new figurehead of their legendary 'In Search Of Sunrise' (ISOS) series of CDs previously fronted by Tiësto, there proved to be just one obvious successor to the throne - Richard Durand.
'In Search Of Sunrise 8 - South Africa' was released in May 2010 to huge acclaim from the music press and dance fans alike, with 'In Search Of Sunrise 9 - India' following in 2011.
May 2012 sees Richard Durand release the landmark 10th edition of 'In Search Of Sunrise' with Australia this time chosen as the inspiration and theme for the mix. Once again Richard will be selecting the finest upfront and exclusive tracks from the world's leading producers, and with this being the 10th edition of the compilation there will be a third disc featuring the best tracks from ISOS 1-9 and mixed by a competition winner who will both select and mix these tracks.
News of the forthcoming ISOS compilation has got dance fans and music press buzzing with anticipation already, and Integrity Artist Management will be arranging a series of worldwide ISOS10 tour dates that will feature Richard Durand performing a special extended DJ set of ISOS material while also bringing special ISOS guest artists, visuals, branding and CD giveaways to each event.
The ISOS world tour dates start at Central Studios in Utrecht in Holland on 19 May and will then work their way to every corner of the globe by the end of the year.
