After a short hiatus Cómeme records recently returned with three stunning releases and a new website where you can listen to the freshly launched Cómeme radio. To spread their new power of rhythm we hooked up with them for five party dates around Europe.
Beside Cómeme head-honcho Matias Aguayo, who will present his thrilling hybrid of DJing and live performance, and known artists such as Capracara or Barnt many new names are on the bill. Foremost the mysterious band Issac Johan will present their mix of ecstatic mantra-like vocals, hypnotic guitar riffs, mesmerizing marching beats, and absorbing bass lines. Also Cómeme’s newly founded rhythm section The District Union will strike live. From Argentina Ana Helder comes around to spread some subversive uplifting dance music. And from Medellín, Columbia the DJ and producer Sano joins the Cómeme bunch to melt his Salsa heritage with contemporary club rhythms.
