Martelo, Bbrave, The Bumps
It’s been quite a year so far for bass champions and bootyshaking lovers Club Popozuda. A consistently good line-up of the best DJs and acts, playing at festivals, their trademark blend of the finest upbeat tropical tunes have earned the night a loyal following. The favourite midweek fiesta for hotstepping hipsters and bundafull brasileiros alike, Club Popozuda now brings the fun to Friday nights at Floripa this summer.
Having DJ’d since the age of 15 he’s been able to master his craft to become one of the best DJs around and be asked to play everywhere from Coachella to Summersonic and Glastonbury. He’s toured as Santigold’s DJ and supported everyone from Big Sean to Jay-Z.
In London he holds down a show on NTS Radio, produces in secret with his friends and plays at some of the best parties around. Infamous for his re-edits and mashups as well as his encyclopaedic knowledge of “hood music” he will be bringing the heat to melt the ice.
Bbrave (Akwaaba Music)

As a DJ, Bbrave focuses on the dancefloor side of things, mashing together the staggering variety of dance music genres made in Africa, from kuduro to coupé décalé, kwaito and kwassa house to hiplife. This will be something a bit different and a whole lotta fun.
