Pinky and the Brain pres. The Stroke urban art fair opening party

Let’s introduce Pinky and the Brain a new duo which is going to conquer Berlins Party scene. Not just with putting some dj’s in a room and hope for the best.
But with well thought of master plans, to give you an unique experience not only with the best electronic music but also with performances, art and live painting.

Working as a duo is new, but Pinky and the brain are no newcomers to the electronic dance theatre. Like the real Pinky and the Brain they are veterans when it comes to entertainment, music and parties.
The duo consists out of Joanna Kupnicka who worked for Bar 25 and Fusion Festival for over 12 years, has her own Varietè show in Neuköllns best theatre Heimathafen and performs live shows throughout Europe with her band The Cold Hand or as her alter ego Ria Grün.
The other half is Alexander Koning who did parties in Holland for over two decades, had his own recordstore for over 15 years and travelled all over Europe to dj and to represent his record labels.

This first episode brings the two mice into the lions cage - Katerholzig. Mice going to a Kater, not to get eaten but to give the best Berlin has to offer.

The plan is to treat the visitor with an experience of a lifetime, not just with music but also visually and conceptual. The garden will be filled with strange installation and artists who will be live painting the fassade of Katerholzig, to give it a fresh new look. Expect live tape artists, painters and live constructions.
One room will be reserved for the best electronical live acts,
not just a guy standing behind a laptop, smoking a cigarette but real live shows performed by top electronical bands.

Of course we don’t forget that it’s also a party, that’s why we fill two rooms with dj’s who will keep you moving till the break of dawn.
One filled with Berlin finest and one with dutchies who will perform b2b interspersed with some live acts.
As we said the night is the after party of the stroke so stroke visitors come in for7€ instead 10€.
So keep your ticket and show it at the door.
