RED PIG FLOWER
Red Pig Flower is a London and Berlin based DJ, producer and artist. Starting off her career as a professional DJ at Club Rooty (Tokyo) and Air (Seoul), she became noted for her impressive yet sizzling tribal beat style. From 2009, she started making a name for herself both as a guest DJ and organiser, working with artists such as House Rules (Korea) and Capsule, Hico and Towa Tei (Japan), where her skills at making clubbers hearts racing with tribal beats and cooling the steam off with upbeat Techno sets came to the fore.
In 2010, she moved to London to continue to explore new beats and grooves, searching for new sounds and environments with an endless passion, resulting in her current Ableton Live sets being more experimental, yet still peppered with her signature tribal beat sound. Combining various concepts of sound art in her set, she endlessly pushes the envelopes of art and music together to draw people inside a more unusual atmosphere than the comfort zone of the club.
Nowadays Red Pig Flower keeps herself busy organising events around East London, Berlin and other European countries, whilst still challenging herself continuously to create and combine new sounds and art.
Woody Aki is a self-confessed Idiot Savant who has masqueraded over many years as a music journalist, historian, DJ, producer, artiste or a bass player. Born in Melbourne, Australia, and raised in Malta, his wide musical influences are spread over a large canvas coloured by 1970’s Dub Reggae, Punk, Disco, New Wave and beyond. Now based in Cambridge (UK), Woody periodically releases the odd electronic track, releasing his first track after a 5-year hiatus together with Demarkus Lewis on the Batti Batti label back in 2010.
Belting out uncompromising mixes full of Italo Disco, various variations of alternative House, Mutant Disco, electronic classics, old school Hi-NRG and tight, emotional Electro and Techno from times past and present for like-minded left-wing electronic aficionados, Woody’s maverick sets paint a colourful, versatile picture grafted and earned in clubs in Malta and across Europe over 17 years that very few individuals – famous, successful, both or not – can match.

Maltese DJ Nicky Scicluna started off experimenting with various styles of music at the early age of 17 but has always been focused on a particular feeling in a track which led him into adopting to a soulful unique form of House music. At the age of nineteen, bored with the same old local club scene, he and two friends began organizing the much loved Perpendicular events.
Starting off as a small, entertaining do to a group of select friends, Perpendicular has now developed a cult following, with over 900 attending their ‘Jail’ party last summer. And if he’s not rocking floors, he’ll be found snapping away on the floor with his camera!
Carrying a three-word mantra of ‘Uplifting , Soulful, Groovy’ wherever he plays, Nicky Slim’s philosophy is as effective as it’s simple...
