Twenty bridges from Tower to Kew
Wanted to know what the River knew
For they were young and the Thames was old,
And this is the tale that the river told:
It’s rumoured summer is here,
And yes, so far, tis been a bit queer,
It doesn’t change that this August eleventh,
We’ll see you on the peer…
Oh no, you’re kidding?! That looks like questionable poetry and another ridiculously good looking pinup. Gee whiskers, have we got news for you!!!
The Comfortably Numbed massive are back – THEY’RE BACK. Sound the trumpets & text your friends, BLISSED & TWISTED are back on the river baby.
Right, relax writer before you do yourself an over excited mischief. In a summer as strewn in highlights as this, the addition of THE boat party to your calendar just had to happen. And as they’re about to change the name of Big Ben to Large Liz or Big Beth or something, what better way to pay homage than an inimitable Blissed’n’Twisted style boat ride on the Golden Flame!
Grab a biro and make a note, break out the post-its - hell, tattoo the date to your eyelids if needs be! The boat leaves Temple Pier at noon. Sharp. Sorry to be militant, but by 12:01, we’ll have left, along with the PARTY OF THE SUMMER!
Saturday, the 11th day of August 2012,
What to expect?
*Bass shaped wake patterns
*Two dance floors spitting out the best in Fresh Electronic House, Techno & Reggae music
*At least one really tall guy to hit his on the roof
*Familiar faces on a boat packing sub woofers.
*A wicked afternoon that’ll seem over far too quickly
What you need to know
*11 August, 2012 (Saturday)
*Temple Pier (Temple closest tube station)
*Aim to get there for 11.30 latest
*Hahaha, what am I talking about – it’s the Olympics so I might not rule out camping overnight!
*Boat leaves noon sharp and just to reiterate, we can’t wait for anyone unfortunately.
We cannot wait to join you for this, our 7th Blissed’n’Twisted on the Thames.
