Adelaide Carleton is truly one of most aspiring and rapidly rising music artists in the international trance music scene. In less than four years, Adelaide has been able to grow to become one of New Zealand’s most exciting and credible electronic music artists. Through her commitment, dexterity and sheer dedication to performing at the highest level, Adelaide has consciously been able to continuously improve and develop into an exciting and more importantly influential force in the Electronic Dance music scene in New Zealand and internationally across the world.
Adelaide has been an enduring and captivating supporting fixture on many event rosters in New Zealand, playing at major events including Godskitchen, Summadayze, Stereodays, Ministry of Sound Trance Nation, Oxygen and Slinky. These events have allowed her to enjoy the well welcomed opportunity of supporting an extensive array of well-decorated and successful artists including but not limited to; Cosmic Gate (Germany), John '00' Fleming (UK), Eddie Halliwell (UK) Alex M.O.R.P.H. (Germany), Tommy Trash (Australia), Carl Cox (UK), Mark Knight (UK), Sharam (USA), Tom Novy (Germany), The Shapeshifters (UK) and Nic Fanciulli (UK). Furthermore, Adelaide’s consistency for delivering captivating and compelling performances also ensures that Adelaide Carleton now has opportunities to perform internationally with additional selected dates in Australia and across Europe in late 2012.
Adelaide is more than just a performer though, as illustrated through her delicate but compelling artistic approach in production of music and dedicated completion a Diploma in Audio Engineering. Through this experience and hard work in 2012, Adelaide has created well-established networks with other producers and music artists alike amongst the international electronic dance music world.
Adelaide's talent highlighted by her technical precision and inspirational idealistic attitude, is illustrated on Adelaide’s debut production release on Sorcery Records. Allegro EP, is an enthralling successful track that already has had major support and also charted in the Beatport Top 10 trance releases chart.
The Allegro EP also has official remixes by Roddy Reynaert (Anjunadeep) and Arclight (Sex Elektro). Further releases in collaboration with NZ producer, Arclight are to come on Dirt Lies & Audio Recordings (UK), including the Darkstorm EP (also featuring Lightstorm), and her single ‘Never Knew’ has been signed for release by UK label Sorcery Records. Adelaide’s ability to entertain and her definition of taste in great music has been a prominent attribute in achieving residency on Decibel Station, an internet radio station based in France, for her monthly show ‘Ambience Radio’. Adelaide Carleton is definitely a talented and technically proven music artist with an exciting and no doubt successful future ahead.
