Led by the chameleon-like keyboardist Joe McGinty, the extremely popular and always entertaining Losers Lounge knows how to have a good time. This year, they are pitting two great dynasties of dance, the Jacksons—Michael, Janet, and the Jackson 5—against Prince and his Paisley Park roster, Shelia E, The Time, and Vanity 6. This funky royal rumble has one sure winner: the dancers! In the spirit of the day, dress in your Jacksons- or Prince-inspired best; prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.

DJ Cosi, DJ Herbert Holler, and DJ Marc Smooth make up The Freedom Dance Party, New York’s longest running weekly night dance party. Reminiscent of the golden age of the city’s nightlife, The Freedom Dance Party mixes music across many different musical genres and provides a party atmosphere where people from all different backgrounds can feel free and let loose. The trio has been giving New Yorkers a fun, laid-back place to party for over nine years.
