Since the closure of The Void, Stoke has had some incredible nights over the last decade but there has been no venue that has been able to put on 'A' list DJ's as all of our dance based clubs have either closed down or not been large enough to accommodate such Icons. Luckily The Move has slowly been building a following over the last 12 months at its monthly parties at Fat Cat putting on a mix of established local house heroes and new young up and coming talent with exciting guest DJ's headlining the parties and along with its weekly radio show has caught the attention of some of the worlds biggest DJ's. Now for those of you that have been living under a rock for the last 15 years or haven't heard of DERRICK CARTER, here's just a few reasons to why he's such a big deal. He often headlines the world famous WAREHOUSE PROJECT Closing Parties, He's the only DJ to have headlined DC10 in IBIZA twice in a year, he's played at pretty much every established underground event worldwide in his career and we've not even got to the main one yet. Derrick Carter is without doubt one of the most revered DJ's ever. He's THE DJ's DJ. Ask most well respected house DJ who their favourite DJ is and many will answer Derrick Carter. Do not miss this auspicious occasion as this is a real rarity for Stoke On Trent and if one thing is for sure, this will be the party of the year for real fans of house music.
