Bad Advice, Inc. is proud to announce that we're moving into our new monthly home at brand-spanking new club PRIMARY with REFRACT, a night focused on showcasing the full spectrum of underground house and techno.

Kicking of July 20th with special guests JOSHUA IZ [Vizual Records] and LEE JARVIS [Lost My Dog, 4Kenzo, Headtunes] + residents Duke Shin and Merrick Brown, we'll also be offering a HOSTED RECEPTION (well drinks and PBR) and NO COVER FROM 10pm-midnight.

Refract will continue every 3rd Friday of the month.

Since February, we've had some great guests including DJ Lady D, Gene Hunt, Sassmouth, John Simmons, Savile, Olin, Mantas Steles and more as part of Tech.Tonic at Katacombs. While we loved bringing the undeground from one of Chicago's more storied late night haunts, the opportunity to take our focus to a brand new spot in PRIMARY that features a custom-installed AIS VOID system, full dance floor layout and craft cocktails-not to mention a giant LED wall installation-was too great to pass up.

We've been excited to showcase some of Chicago's best deck technicians and selectors, affording them the chance to play extended, prime-time sets to showcase the saturated talent that we're fortunate to have. Despite our city's musical history, it seems rare to find non-mainstream EDM options late at night on weekends, and like Tech.Tonic, REFRACT @ PRIMARY will strive to provide the perfect environment for all the heads out there who want to support the community of artists that make up the lifeblood of our house and dance music culture.
