For our Summer Revolution’s edition of August 5, we’re inviting the infamous deep and funky house wonder Miguel Campbell to La Rocca.
Miguel Campbell has been enthused by the house music scene since the early 90′s. In 2006 he founded his own label: Outcross Record and in 2010 he became the newest addition to Hot Creations. On this label, he released the infamous “Baby I Got It” EP, including “Something Special”. This track won the “Best Deep House Track” award at the Beatport Music Awards of 2012. “Miguel Campbell’s approach on recent releases has been a simple one: pair a pleasing bassline with a nice hook, backward looking vocal or easy melody and jobs a good ‘un. It’s the same again here on his Baby I Got It EP; an EP where the Leeds man makes the step up from being a Hot Natured Re Rubs artists to become a fully fledged Hot Creations confrere.” (ibiza-voice.com).
Loyal La Rocca resident DJ Joeri and Labyrinth Artists Tofke and Ugur Yurt will support Campbell on this edition’s line-up.
