We are E will hit you with a double dose of international musicality on the 24th of august when they visit Studio 80 with a line up that contains exactly that summer warmth that the Dutch weather has been lacking so clearly and painfully. As JAY SHEPHEARD and DAN CURTIN will be the stars of this edition you will finally be able to warm your body to the sounds of the finest pa system of the city while these guys spread their glowing frequencies through the room.

With his hypnotic sound JAY SHEPHEARD has conquered the world of deeper electronic music at quite a speed. From his debut release 'Black Label' on the German quality brand Compost, he has seen a series of very successful musical expressions over the last couple of years. Freerange and Diynamic, Rebirth and Buzzin Fly have all been keen on signing Jay to their families and in 2010 he even started his very own Retrofit! Right now he's working on his first album and planning tours in both the States and Australia, so be sure to catch his live-set in Studio 80 before you can only see him from afar on the main stages of big festivals.

Originating more from the techno side of things and getting started way before most of you were even thinking about clubbing, DAN CURTIN has been pushing all possible envelopes of the four / four frame from every possible angle since 1992!! From squeaky noises, to catchy bass lines and from snappy hi hats to ecstatic synthesizers, Dan surely is the man! Listing labels or clubs or festivals becomes somewhat pointless when someone has done it all so just pass by to see this legend at work in a unique club performance! Residing within the Mobilee crew but represented in the Netherlands by We Are E this is also somewhat of a welcoming party for Curtin.

To support these two heavyweights BAS AMRO looks like the perfect We Are E addition. He almost seems to be a combination of both Dan and Jay. Young, very talented, ambitious and serious about his music. This summer is turning out to be a great one for him with performances on the mainstage of Welcome To The Future and Mysteryland and more and more trips abroad.

Studio 2 is all about NATIVES! This tribe has a serious statement about a night into town. It has to be cheerful, melodic and unique. So they decorate the place with their most festive tribal colours and attributes and have artists from their own blood bring you the best in disco, groove, funk and house. Classic hits and modern fits from the likes of Martin bell, Mike Melchiot and Mulla.
