Adnan Sharif (Forward)

Son of Palestinian parents and Brazilian-born, Adnan Sharif immigrated to the USA in 1987 and found himself right at home in his new city, San Francisco. His DJ career started in 1995, playing his first gig with, "The Gathering," a legendary series of parties held in the San Francisco Bay Area. His musical styles include all genres of house music, ranging from deep to tech to minimal. Presently, Adnan Sharif is the resident DJ and promoter of Forward SF, a monthly event hosted in underground locations and clubs in SF.

Adnans Forward SF nights have blossomed with the reputation for creating warm, inclusive and soulful vibes that unite our people and celebrate diversity. His parties are known for their large-scale rollout of solid, consistently infectious vibes that cause an involuntary surrender to the dancing and love so embedded in the San Francisco makeup.

Working with other successful groups like Brazils D-Edge, San Franciscos listed, Seattles Uniting Souls and Tropical LA has helped Adnan spread the love evident in his events and in his sound, while also releasing work on labels such as: Smoke N Mirrors, Uniting Souls Music, Release Sustain, Rezongar Music, Area Sur Records, Temple Music Group, Tarantic Records and Jah Love Recordings.

He has shared the turntables with incredible DJs, encompassing talents like: Dixon, Pezzner, Abe Duque, Tanner Ross, Droog, Justin Martin, Claude VonStroke, Hot Chip, Doc Martin, Jay TripWire, Terry Francis, Grant Dell, Mark Farina, Renato Ratier, Renato Lopez, Mau Mau, Luis Nieva, Miguel Silver, Jeno, Garth, Solar, Galen and Lance Desardi.

He has played at internationally renowned parties, including standout locations like: D-Edge, Warung, Cozumel Club and World Social Forum (all in Brazil), ComeUnity, The Gathering and Sunset parties, as well as the Bulletproof Boat Party and Power to the Peaceful Festival (all in San Francisco), Beijing (China), Red Noise (Venezuela) and the ACA World Sound Festival (Acapulco, Mexico).

In late 2000 Adnan Sharif began his journey into music production. His style draws from classic dancefloor music staples like Depeche Mode, the rhythmic and warm textures of Brazilian samba and afro-jazz, and soulful Detroit house staples like Abe Duque and Omar S. He boasts an impressive back-catalog of mixes, original tracks and track remixes, as well as a growing portolio of produced work

JDubya (Pink Mammoth, Looq)

Jonathan Will (a.k.a. JDubYa) is a resident DJ and impresario for San Francisco’s legendary house crew Pink Mammoth. He loves to rock dance floors by taking people through a journey of momentous booty shaking extroversion. His style is eclectic, expressive and dance floor-centric; his sets convey a full range of house music including full-body notes of tech, deep house; aromas of electro-pop and jazz, and a well balanced, lingering finish of funk and dub. He has played alongside the likes of Lee Burridge, Miguel Migs, Jimpster, Justin Martin, DJ T., Worthy, Marques Wyatt, Spirit Catcher, and The Martinez Brothers. He is also one half of the production duo "Thick as Thieves" with his production partner Ray Kang (Yoshitoshi).

He has performed at almost every club in San Francisco including:Monarch, Mighty, The ENDUP, Supperclub, Triple Crown, Ruby Sky, Public Works, Wish, Temple, Anu, and around the world at The Winter Music Conference (WMC) Miami, Japan, Amsterdam, Minneapolis, Denver, Los Angeles, as well as the much loved, annual Pink Mammoth parties at Burning Man.

Currently, has been busy in the studios with production. He just finished a remix of AND()'s Akuma H23 on Looq records. The release was well received and even peaked to #35 in its category on Beatport. He new remix of Momu's ComingUp, should be out this summer and is already getting much dj support.

Gravity (Pink Mammoth)

The Chicago area music scene provided the perfect backdrop for the early days of Rob Adelmann’s (aka DJ Gravity) funky, eclectic influences. Yet despite growing up in the birthplace of house music, Rob’s first real exposure to the genre came in 1997, while living in London. The thriving underground scene of UK’s capital sucked him in and left a lasting impression. In 1999, while living in Colorado, Rob bought turntables and began teaching himself the art of mixing, recalling advice he picked up from friends in London. Within 6 months he found himself playing bars and clubs in Colorado. While living in Boulder, Rob had the good fortune of meeting future Pink Mammoth cofounder Ryel K, who invited him to camp and DJ at Pink Mammoth during Burning Man 2005. The Burning Man culture and his experience DJing there had such a profound effect that he was inspired to move to San Francisco shortly after.

Once in SF, Rob quickly became an integral part of Pink Mammoth’s foundation. Over the last six years Rob has DJed every Pink Mammoth event in venues all over SF, as well as parties throughout North America, including Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Denver and Calgary. In addition to playing headlining sets, Rob has had the opportunity to share the decks with Lee Burridge, Marques Wyatt, Collette, Jimpster, Spirit Catcher, Justin Martin, Random Soul, Hed Kandi, Miguel Migs, AstroGlyde, DJ T and The Martinez Brothers.

Although rooted in funky and deep house, Rob’s sound is not easily defined. Whether playing an uplifting daytime party, epic sunset/sunrise set, or a peak time nightclub slot, his main source of inspiration comes from the dancefloor. Rather than sticking to a plan or sub-genre of house, Rob’s sets are based on reading the crowd and creating an irresistible vibe and unforgettable experience.

Ray Kang (Yoshitoshi, 2 Tribes, Thick as Thieves)

With a career spanning over 10 years, Ray has proven himself to be one of the best DJs in the industry beginning with his KNEE DEEP residency in Washington DC, where he brought thousands of people together for one of the longest running parties in the mid-Atlantic. As the former label manager for DEEP DISH (Dubfire & Sharam) he helped bring their world-renowned house music labels, Yoshitoshi & Shinichi to the forefront where he worked closely with Little Louie Vega, Danny Howells, Eddie Amador, Deepsky, Luke Fair, Narcotic Thrust, and of course, Deep Dish themselves.

In 2004, he became one half of Washington DC's top EDM duo 2 Tribes. He has played some of the largest, hottest, banging clubs in the country and quickly built a reputation for playing groovy, techy beats, laced with soulful melodies, and thick baselines with eyes and ears firmly fixed on a rocking, sweating dance floor. Now in 2012, he is back in the studio working on original production with JDubya from San Francisco's legendary Pink Mammoth. Together as "Thick as Thieves," they are creating cutting edge beats inspired by musical influences from both coasts. Ray has performed alongside legendary talent including Dubfire & Sharam (Deep Dish), Derrick Carter, Victor Calderone, Peter Bailey & Richie Santana (Mind Control), Pablo Ceballos (Chus & Ceballos), Oscar G, D:FUSE, Scott Henry, and many more. His sets and mixes can be heard across North America on "The Move" via Sirius XM Satellite Radio and around the world on Digitally Imported Radio www.DI.FM and on "Driversion" www.ssradiouk.com
