After an electric party with Saytek Live, CTRL SHIFT Promotions is pleased to announce their return to the Horse & Groom in Shoreditch on Friday the 7th September 2012.
A very special guest, Claire Ripley (1trax/Dessous/Highgrade/Katchuli/Murmur/Wiggle), will be joining CTRL SHIFT residents; Dan Jury & Andrew Sansom + support comes from Michael Freeman (Deepsessions Digital/Taldor Records).
Claire has performed at some of the best clubs in the world; from the infamous Panorama Bar in Berlin where she recently played for over 4 hours, to Circo Loco, and WYS @ Fabric in good old EC1.
In recent years Claire has stormed in to the House and Techno scene with an array of stunning releases with her first major EP getting signed to Steve Bug's highly respected imprint Dessous Recordings.
Since then, she’s gone on to feature for several other labels such as Neurotraxx, Dogmatik Records and Geddes London based Murmur, having her huge hit 'Slow Loris' remixed by Solomun, which gained respect and plays from none other than Richie Hawtin. More strong releases followed on Gorge's Katchuli label and 1Trax, including a remix of the timeless classic Robert Owens - I'll Be Your Friend, plus a superb EP for Todd Bodine’s consistently brilliant Highgrade Records in Berlin. Recently she’s also released a highly successful EP on Wiggle alongside her new production partner Zeitgeist, which features remixes by Nathan Coles, Terry Francis & Saytek, and has just had a new track called ‘Come to the Disco’ included on Steve Lawler's double compilation ‘VIVa Warriors’.
Her music has received massive support from top DJ's worldwide; Seth Troxler, Dubfire, Carl Cox, Magda, Slam, Steve Lawler, Simon Baker, Laurent Garnier, Matt Tolfrey, Nic Fanciulli, Gabriel Ananda and many more.
It’s easy to see why Claire was selected as "One to keep an eye on" in Mixmag and described as "Very impressive" by DJ Mag. We can’t wait for her to join us in Shoreditch!

CTRL SHIFT is a new monthly house & techno promotion based on quality & integrity, with the aim of bringing international DJs & Live Acts to the capital, whilst also pushing fresh UK based talent. The night is lead by co-founders and resident DJs; Dan Jury & Andrew Sansom, who are dedicated to providing the very best in underground electronic music.
Somewhat disappointed by recent attitudes encountered in clubland, Andrew & Dan have set out on a mission to not only showcase their own musical talents, but to offer clubbers a safe, friendly & welcoming environment, a place where they can let off steam & just enjoy the MUSIC. The atmosphere & vibe of CTRL SHIFT is imperative, and the guys will ensure a certain benchmark of quality is adhered to, with a keen eye on programming & production.
Musically, you can expect to hear a diverse range of sounds from deep house & dub techno, to broken beats & UK bass, along with the tougher sounds of Berlin & Detroit towards the business end of the night.
This event is strictly for clubbers, passionate about music and having fun.
