After a summer which saw Nest at Space Ibiza, Magic Shoe Festival and Glade Festival We’re back in our home city and chomping at the bit to get back into a club. And what a club we’re in, We finally break our mint club cherry with a rather tasty lineup offering up two more Fresh Leeds Debuts.

At Nest we primarily try focus on DJ’s rather than producers. Bloody Mary’s live sets this year have really blown us away, we’re not taking any shine of her productions either as she’s not too shabby on that side of things either...
After building up a successful DJ and production career, what's a girl to do next? For Bloody Mary, the next logical step was to found her own record label: Dame-Music which has become a hub for tracks by the talent she has befriended over the years in the worldwide Techno & House scene. Not pinned down by any particular sound, the label's output adheres to only one rule: music that Bloody Mary would include within her DJ sets, These include names such as Axel Boman, Adam Shelton, Subb_an, Jay Haze and more.
This lady has blown the roof off Panorama Bar , Fabric , Sonar Festival , Rex Club & has had the honour, which very little can boast: her own ‘Meet night’ at the prestigious Watergate. All this happening over this last year, so we’ve been itching our heads why she’s not come to Leeds Yet? We’re Really excited to have her on board for our first Nest back from the summer. Her live sets are nothing short of amazing, so expect to to be blown away in the hot and sweaty confines of Mint Club.

So we’ve gone and brought another duo out of retirement this time the Garage House Legends & One of our all-time favourite producers RIP Productions.
RIP Productions are known for their huge success on Ice Cream Records; Ice Cream records is set to go down in history as the foremost record label to pioneer the first ever UK Garage cross over.
The creatives behind this groundbreaking label, Tim Deluxe and Omar Adimora started to gather momentum back in 1995, dropping their first release, 'Pick Me Up'.
Between the years of 1995 and early 1997, Ice Cream released some all time underground classics including, 'Deep Inspiration', 'Obsessed', 'Work It', 'Club Traxs vol.1', 'The Players', and 'Move To Jersey & Many Many More.
But it was the the catalytic & legendary bassline track Rip Groove by Double 99 that the duo are most well known for Within a month of its release, Rip Groove was being played in 97% of clubs and radio stations up and down the country. Unbeknown to them at the time, Ice Cream had set a milestone that was about to change the direction of UK dance music forever.
With the Duo fresh out of retirement and their only other gig been a headline slot at fabric it truly is an honor to have such leading Pioneers play for the Nest brand.
