A true pioneer, Jesse Rose is responsible for twisting the template of house music as we know it. Be it through his genre bending productions, DJ performances across the planet, remixing some of the biggest acts around (Major Lazer, Hotchip, Metronomy, Underworld, Simian Mobile Disco et al.), or as a label boss A&Ring the freshest talent in electronic music, Jesse has one of the most revered profiles in the scene.

Jesse’s production prowess saw him produce Hot Chip in 2010 for their single entitled ‘Build a House’, the first ever production not tailored by the band themselves. 2010 also saw Jesse launch his third imprint; ‘Play it Down,’ which despite it’s no press approach has already had countless Beatport top tens solely based on the merit of the music. Following the staggering popularity last summer of Jesse and Henrik Schwarz’s live tour project; ‘Black Rose’, a return assault is planned on the major festival circuit for summer 2012. The first Black Rose EP, aptly titled “Anthem’ also dropped early 2011 and received Radio One’s ‘Essential New Tune’ accolade.
Continued international touring schedule aside, Jesse has now based himself out of L.A, working on a new Jesse Rose album, a collaborative Mixtape with Oliver $, producing acts and getting back into the studio with Dave “Switch” Taylor.
