Despite years of excitement and preparation, it seems prudent to remind both the indigenous and the uninitiated that the main event of 2012 is a SUMMER Olympics. Forget ticket fiascos, flood warnings and random livestock sauntering around in 80,000 capacity stadia though, get down to the Horse & Groom on July 26th for the real start to the summer.
