The kings and queens of this underground tech house bank holiday knees up offer two rooms packed with the finest DJ talent as always. Kerfuffle are one of the key pieces of the underground house music jigsaw.
Tech-house – it's not one or the other, it's both mixed together. That's the way Kerfuffle have always approached music. But with Ornate due to be slipping some naughty grooves in the front room, the night will be bold, upfront loud and proud in the other. So it's two rooms of house-sie-tech-yes!
The Line up:
Boom Boom Room:
Kirk Degiorgio (A.R.T. Planet E, Rush Hour)
Ever since hearing his earliest A.R.T. releases on Colin Dale's Outer Limits radio show we've been hearing his name. His production skills are legendary. He's been putting out some amazing remixes for techno luminaries such as Life Recorder, Soy Mustafa, John Selway and Mark Broom. His Machine Night parties with Ben Sims are rocking Europe and he's just finished a tour of Australia. Brixton's got talent!
Alex Downey (Covert)
This man eats warm luscious techno for breakfast. He's graced festivals and parties ranging from Free Rotation to Klick Klack with his skills and his Brighton based record repository is an Aladdin's cave of obscure groove laden delights.
Kirsten Sees (Area 38)
Dave Miller (Spaceheadz)
Ornate Music Room:
Leif Knowles (Trimsound, Fear of Flying)
He's resident at Freerotation Festival, and runs the newly formed UntilMyHeartStops label with Joe Ellis. Since 2003, been putting out funked-up shuffly deepness on labels such as FINA, Fear of Flying, Moon Harbour, Morris Audio, Boe Recordings, Mindtours and his own label Trimsound.
